The IT department has a total strength of 30 staff members. The department is divided into the following sections:
YTML IT department supports around 2,000 management staff members across all YTML sites and caters to their requirements.
The department is currently going through an aggressive transformational phase and carrying out strategic projects like SAP, HR ERP, RFID and Infrastructural upgrades.
The journey of transformation will continue till end 2022 and beyond, and turn YTML into a digital workspace leading towards Textile 4.0.
YTML is a fast-paced organization that aspires to be the local and international market leader for home textile products. As a focal part of digitizing YTML, our strategy is to implement Textile 4.0 standards (Industry 4.0 in Textile) across all areas.
YTML will be deploying SAP MII (Machine Integration & Intelligence) to connect the entire industrial textile machinery using the IOT (Internet of Things) standard for providing real-time access to manufacturing data which helps make decision-making fast & efficient.
YTML has recently signed up with Abacus Consulting to deploy state-of-the-art SAP S/4 Hana ERP. The implementation of the ERP will take a year and YTML will be going live on 1st July, 2022 with all standard functionalities, covering Finance/Controlling (FICO), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (S&D) and Production Planning (PP).
This implementation will standardize all business processes across YTML and help transform the organization into a fast-paced organization ready to embrace business growth.
