Shift Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance

Yunus Textile Mills Limited is looking for energetic profiles for the below-mentioned position based in Landhi, Karachi.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient maintenance of HFO Engines, Gas Engines, Gensets, and associated utility systems in compliance with SOPs, including plant restoration activities after blackouts.
• Oversee the operation and performance of power-generating equipment based on fuel cost optimization, tariff priorities, and management guidelines to ensure cost-effective energy generation. Monitor and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HFO Engines, Gas Engines, MV/LV systems, and auxiliary equipment as per the maintenance planner.
• Maintain and monitor critical consumables and utilities, including lube oil management, used oil analysis, chemical dosing, utility water reservoirs, and water pressure systems for reliable engine performance.
• Prepare and review operational performance reports, including benchmarking, utility consumption, and solar efficiency reports, while coordinating with end-users for uninterrupted supply of power, gas, and water.
• Ensure strict compliance with Work Permit systems, Safe Work Practices, Risk Assessments, and all plant safety protocols before authorizing maintenance or operational activities.
